Snitch Listed

Well, well, well... I guess I'm on Obama's list. Ya know, the "snitch list"?

Today I received an unsolicited email from David Axelrod telling me all kinds of wonderful things about Obamacare.

I haven't signed up for anything from the White House. The only way I can figure that they could have that email address is if someone snitched on me (unless I want to put my super paranoid hat on...).

I've heard that our emails and calls are overloading the White House. I would bet they're wishing they had never asked Americans to snitch on other Americans.

Apologies to those waiting...

We've had a bit of turn-over here at the Read My Lipstick Network this summer... some folks moved, others had family difficulties / concerns, and yours truly had a few very hot fires that took my attention away from this very important passion for the most part.

We have a back-log of new members in the pipe-line and I apologize if you've been waiting, not getting a response.

A couple of us had planned a RMLN "work day" this week to catch up, but it's the last week before school and another family fire popped up, and, and, and... and it hasn't happened.

No matter what, next week we're going to go through all the emails you've sent, all the requests to be added to the blog roll and we're going to do it!

Thanks for hanging in there with us! Once school starts and things get back to normal (ha, is life ever going to be normal again with the Obama in office?) we'll be back just as strong if not stronger.

My Dad, the Brownshirt Mob Member

My Dad is in his mid-70's. He's a quiet, hard-working, church-going, live what you preach kinda guy. He's never been to a protest and frowns on that kind of thing. He doesn't call radio stations or get excited about things. He's the guy that feeds the neighbors dogs and picks up their mail when they go out of town. He's the guy everyone calls to help build a new room on the house or when they need a tool.

He goes to church every Sunday, volunteers a couple of days a week at Habitat for Humanity and makes sure that he tithes. He'd give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. He is a wonderful, down-to-earth, practical and thrifty man.

I called July 3rd to let him know what time we'd be up for the annual "do" at the house. All the kids get together for a cookout, homemade ice cream and fun at my parents'.

I had planned on being there around 11.

My Dad, who's never written a letter of complaint, never organized a protest, never yelled at anyone, told me he wouldn't be home until later as he was going to their local Tea Party.

Pin drop silence, jaw drop shock.

I actually shook my head thinking I must have heard wrong. I briefly wondered if I was living in some alternate reality.

My Dad at a Tea Party? I'm still surprised.

He even dug out Mama's camera and took a few photos for me!

He guessed that roughly 500 people showed up in their little north Georgia town of Greenville.

When I think of my Dad feeling the need to take part in a Tea Party that to me is the best barometer of the seriousness of where we are in America. We are in deep doo-doo.

Now I hear that, according to Pelosi, Boxer, Obama and their ilk, people like my Dad are swastika carrying brown-shirt mob members.

Obama and friends are trying to minimize my father's voice. My voice. My concerns. Your voice. Your concerns.

If we did 1/10th of what "they" did to vilify, distort and trash Bush and his fellow Republicans during the past 6 plus years, we'd be in jail given the current climate where we're being asked to snitch on those who don't walk the liberal party line.

Middle-class America is rising up and we're saying what we believe. They're trying to shut us up. It's going to backfire. More and more people like my mild-mannered, strong back boned father are standing up for what they know and believe.

This country was built by people who had strong values who'd finally had enough. They stood up for what they believed and fought for their freedoms. We're still here. We will stand up and be counted. Our voices matter and the more Obama's crowd dumps on us, the louder and stronger we will become.

Mr. President, I'd suggest you listen rather than belittle.

Snitch on me...

So, now we're supposed to be telling Obama when we get emails or see something on the web that seems fishy regarding health care? What are they going to do about what they deem "fishy"? Shut down our computers? Send the gestapo to our homes and confiscate literature? Tap our phones? Put our names on a Hoover type "watch-list"? Call us to come visit the President at the White House to share a beer?

Maybe they just want to come up with good counter-strategies, but it's really strange (and scary) seeing the following on the White House website:

There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to

My suggestion? Flood them with emails. Send every comment, every email, everything that sounds fishy that comes from Obama, CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, Congress, etc., etc.

Be aware though that if you do, they may put YOU on the watch-list.

I wonder how much of our tax dollars are being spent on staff in Obama's White House to monitor fishy emails and info?

Geez, we are still in America aren't we????

Here's my fishy comments on health care: No matter how you feel about health care, name one program that the government touches that is run well, efficiently, in a cost-saving manner??? Even if you LIKE Medicare, it's another program riddled with waste and fraud. Do you want health care to be run like Welfare? the IRS? etc., etc., etc. Once you set up a government agency to monitor health-care, you're talking life-time jobs, waste, people protecting their jobs, power trips, and more. We have ALL had experience with those in government who make it bad news. Yep, there are good people. I don't want to lump everyone into the same basket who works for the government. But I used to be one of 'em. I speak from personal experience when I say we don't need the government hacks messing up one more aspect of our lives.

Snitch on me. I think that if Obama and his government hacks get their hands into our health care system it will be one of the worst things that could ever, ever happen to our country.

Thanks to Steve Maloney and Red State for bringing this to my attention. I wouldn't use their names, but I'm sure they're both already on the watch-list.

Obama and Democrats multiple direct links to destroy Palin

August 2, 2009 - This video from our friends at NakedEmperorNews ( chronicles ties between left wing bloggers and Democrat party apparatchiks to harass and tie-up Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK) with frivolous lawsuits...

Activities which are potentially illegal under Alaskan law.

The left has successfully had this video removed from YouTube and are aggressively seeking to have it taken down from other venues on which it appears, including NMATV.

See for yourself - and then pass it on:
