Randy Highsmith sent me an email invite to join Prayer Warriors for Sarah Palin, a new Ning site. I wanted to share with all of you because I know we have some very committed prayer warriors in our group!
"Prayer Warriors are committed to pray for Sarah Palin to Walk in God's Wisdom and His Perfect Will in the name of Christ Jesus. Prayer Warriors promise to pray for Sarah Palin in the name of Jesus. We are committed to praying for Sarah to Walk in God's Wisdom and His Perfect Will. We pray a hedge of protection, a wall of fire around about her and her family and we plead the blood of the Lamb over them on a daily basis. Pray for her: Family, Health, Home, Safety, Favor with others, and Boldness."
http://prayerwarriorsforsarahpalin.ning.com/ If you do decide to join, there's a space where you note how you heard about the group --- I'd appreciate the mention of RMLN.

Four new blogs join the Read My Lipstick Network
You are going to love this new group of bloggers who've joined our Network!
The Spyglass
http://the-spyglass.blogspot.com/
The author shares a "wandering eye over religion, politics, and other important matters". It's a great mix of conservative thought and an excellent blending of religion, politics and... other important matters".
The News Factor
http://TheNewsFactor.com
You're going to want to bookmark this great conservative news site. It's another blend with just the right kinda news. I'm adding it to my rss feed. Guarantee you'll like it.
Common Sense Conservatism
www.comebackconservatives.blogspot.com
As promised in the title, loads of common sense in this blog! I found myself reading every post, nodding my head in agreement, and wishing that there were more people with Laura's brand of common sense! Here's a sampling:
Mr. President, you need a lesson in Economics 101
The President just doesn’t understand economics and his policy team doesn’t seem to understand either. The markets like specifics and the Obama administration has yet to provide them with any...
A Republican come back?
The Republicans in the House took a giant risk against this new president by voting NO twice on the porkulus bill. It was a risk I think was worth taking...
Notoriously Conservative
www.notoriouslyconservative.com
Great blog! I got a kick out of the Twelve Step Program for Liberals. And, I'd been meaning to go check out the video of 14-year old Jonathan Krohn speaking at CPAC - it's on there. I watched. I will share with you on my personal blog later, long after you've visited Notoriously Conservative to see it!
---
I'm going to toss in another plug for Twitter. I "met" a few of the bloggers above on Twitter. It is a fantastic way to connect with other conservatives and to keep up with all the news. It can be a bit intimidating at first, but once you get the hang of it you'll be hanging out on it.
You can set you blogs to feed to Twitter. And set Twitter to feed to Facebook. You maximize your writing efforts by utilizing all the various social networks you can find time for. In the upcoming election, in the days ahead as we're fighting tooth and nail for our country, we're going to need every tool imaginable. I strongly encourage you to stretch yourself and go beyond blogging if you're not already doing so.

Twitter, Facebook, social network directory
Note to Read My Lipstick Network members:
We're in the process of adding a new feature to help promote our member blogs and websites. As the title above says, it's a directory listing ways to keep up with you on Facebook, Twitter and other social networks.
We are continuing to set up a dedicated page for each of you on the main site (www.readmylipsticknetwork.com). On that page we are including an RSS feed of your blog (if it has one), links to your blog AND we'll be adding other social network contact info as you send it.
The directory will simply be an alphabetical list of our blogs with your Twitter, Facebook, etc. links or usernames.
If you are a member of a Ning site, send that, too!
Send info to readmylipstick at live dot com. (Just in case you're wondering why we never include our email address on here, it's an attempt to stop the spammers from grabbing and adding to their lists. Nothing seems to really stop 'em, but we try ;-)

NoStimulus.com down
Rec'd a comment on past blog saying the www.nostimulus.com site was down. Checked, verified. It's down. Not sure if it was hacked or overwhelmed by traffic. I'm trying to find out.
In the meantime you can visit www.readthestimulus.org to keep up with the latest.
Two groups (that I'm involved with, I know there are more) are hitting this one hard and heavy: www.TopConservativesonTwitter.com and www.WAM08.org.
Both have action groups specifically targeting stopping the stimulus and have great resources.
WAM is having a televent tonight at 8:30 p.m. (info in previous blog). TCOT has set up an action group "Move Over MoveON". They have a Ning site: http://tcotprojects.ning.com/group/operationmoveovermoveonorg with all the info you need to contact your elected spenders.
Another great thing happening is the modern "Tea Party". I popped some info on a prior blog about that one.
And... while stopping the stimulus package is certainly top priority, don't forget Sarah Palin has a birthday coming up on Feb. 11th. Take the time to send her a birthday card. http://www.readmylipsticknetwork.com/sarah_palin/birthday.htm
