I don't know a thing in the world about the group that put this together but I really like their pledge! I'd love to see more of these type videos and pledges, more kids standing up for true values, liberty, our country. I'm always a hopeful person, always believe things'll get better... but this one perked me up a bit more than normal!

Five New Blogs Join the Read My Lipstick Network
Don't ever let anyone tell you that patriotism, love of country, conservative values and a willingness to fight for our country no longer exist! All you have to do is scan through our member blogs and you can see the spirit and spunk that helps us to rise above adversity time after time.
I know things may look bleak right now, but if we keep on fighting, keep on plugging away, we can still turn things around.
I was happy to discover that some of the following are brand new bloggers! I know you'll want to support them. Be sure to add them to your list of favorites, you're blogrolls and when you can, leave a comment so they know you're reading their words. We need an army of bloggers, keep encouraging your friends on the right to blog, tweet, post videos and keep the pressure on our elected officials.
1. http://genuinegopmom.blogspot.com/ - Why Mommy is a Republican
If you're curious about the Tech Summit our new RNC Chair, Michael Steele put together, be sure to check out Why Mommy is a Republican:
2. http://realtrueamerican.blogspot.com - Real True American
I love my God, my Country and my Family. I am frustrated and angry at what I see going on in America and in our government. I am venting my frustrations here, but I am also hoping we can put our collective heads together and come up with a plan to do something about it. I'm afraid if we dumped a bunch of tea in the bay we would be cited for an environmental spill and be heavily fined or put in jail, so it needs to be something legal, clean, respectful, original and terribly clever.
5. http://1ldsmom.blogspot.com/ - One LDS Mom
Be sure to scroll down the sidebar, she has some great quotes.
"Each of us has a natural right—from God—to defend his person, his liberty, and his property. These are the three basic requirements of life, and the preservation of any one of them is completely dependent upon the preservation of the other two."-Frederic Bastiat (1801-1850) A French economist, statesman, and author.

GOP Tech Summit
On February 13, the GOP, under the leadership of our new chairman Michael Steele, held a Tech Summit to discuss the technological innovations that the party can implement to more readily engage voters. All were invited to the table to present their ideas.
2. http://realtrueamerican.blogspot.com - Real True American
American's Right to Defend One's Property in Jeopardy3. http://weeklypoliticalreview.blogspot.com - Weekly Political Review
Imagine that you are home minding your own business. You are a simple cattle rancher who wants to spend his days in peace in the Arizona countryside next to the border with Mexico. You are not near any major cities where crime runs rampant.
Update on Democrats' Needed Vocabulary Lesson4. http://www.oneangryamericanwoman.blogspot.com - One Angry American Woman
I feel like banging my head against the wall. Democrats must have missed the day in school where they learned the meaning of the words "vetting" and "transparent".

MORE New Members!
We have not one, not two... but THREE new member blogs!
Vets on the Watch - http://vetsonthewatch.blogspot.com/
Real World Libertarian - http://jimunro.blogspot.com/
The Drone Report - http://thedronereport.blogspot.com
The blogroll is still down for the count, but I hear we're getting closer... You'll know the blogroll is working when you see the logo at the top of it change a bit.
Please add these great blogs to those you follow and read!
You have all made some great posts these past few days. I hope you plan to continue blogging! The world needs your voices more than ever right now and doubly so in the days to come.
www.ReadMyLipstickNetwork.com (our new "home") is coming along great. If you'll go visit and comment, we'd appreciate your input. If you click the "Read our Blogs" tab you'll see that we're slowly but surely adding each of your blogs on their own page. We're adding a few things in the background to your blogs (no we're not monkeying with your actual blog) that will help direct traffic to your blog site. We're going to do our best to make YOU famous in a positive way.
Keep an eye out for our new site, www.unitedconservativesofamerican.com (ucoa). Nothing there yet, but there will be!
Send us links to blogs you think would "fit" in our network. The election is over and our emphasis has broadened to include conservative bloggers AND those who are working to get conservatives in office (and / or to help elect Sarah Palin our next President).
Enjoy our three new blogs!

Blog Change! We Love Sarah Palin is now America Needs Sarah Palin!
A note from We Love Sarah Palin blog owner:
Find us at our new address
Not sure how it happened, but my blog which was formerly called We Love Sarah Palin is now called American Needs Sarah Palin and can be found at http://americaneedssarahpalin.blogspot.com
(Note from Read My Lips Network: lately we've been having some problems with Blogger in regards to adding things and having the wrong blogs pop up. Personally, I have a business blogger account and help a few other people with their blogs so have to log into multiple blog accounts. It's taking me to some strange places when I log in sometimes and it's not my computer 'cause I've cleared history, rebooted, don't have problems elsewhere. I have had to completely re-do some of the sidebar additions because it removed the "add" button from features, etc. Being the imaginative type at times, the thought has crossed my mind that Blogger / Google don't like John McCain and Sarah Palin and they're messing with any blogs that are pro Republican, etc... especially since so many of us keep calling them to task for not including any positive results in the Blogger owner Google's search engine... but I think I will chalk it up to Blogger's growing pains instead. They're adding all these cool new features so maybe some code is causing problems!)
