More New Members of the Read My Lipstick Network

Four great new blogs have joined our ranks.

http://www.recoverycountdown.com/ - Recovery Countdown

Isn't the name hopeful? Positive? This is a cool site. I think many of our bloggers and readers are going to be checking this one frequently as it's chocked full of great articles, tips and news.

http://stixblog.com/ - Stix Blog

Loved the "Dear President Obama" letter. I found myself scrolling down to read every single cartoon on the page.

http://www.pal2pal.com - Pal 2 Pal

Seasoned opinion with an attitude and sometimes a wink. I found myself reading one post, then heading to the next.

http://www.runsarah2012.blogspot.com/ Sarah Palin for President 2012

I may have already told you about this phenomenal blog. It's late, I'm way behind on everything and I'd rather tell you about it twice than overlook it. Excellent blog. Love the top banner, too.

I hope you'll all go visit, say hello, read and comment on the blogs, and follow those that interest you. I know it's not possible to follow all of our members. I try!

Drum roll please... the 150th member joins the Network!

Seems like just a few short months ago we were thrilled to have ten members. Oh wait, it was just a few short months ago! The Read My Lipstick Network came into being during the latter part of the 2008 election cycle. We've lost a few blogs along the way as some who fought for McCain/Palin got discouraged after the election. Temporarily! They'll be back. For every one discouraged blogger a hundred seem to be taking up the cause these days. The energy is fantastic.

Today I announce our 150th member! Fireworks please! Drum roll! 150 gun salute. Whatever. It's neat.

Our newest member is cool with shades. She wears 'em day and night as you'll see when you check out her blog.

Rosie Shades - http://rosieshades.blogspot.com/

I love the shades and I particularly like the background in remembrance of Sept. 11th. She has some very neat stuff on the sidebar (including our blogroll), too.

If you'll scroll down her blog entries you'll see the "Honk if you're paying my mortgage" bumper sticker with a link so you can get your very own. (I want one that says "Honk if I'm paying your mortgage")

Enough about all the extras. You're going to like her writing, too!

Here are a few samples:

Modern Day Eugenics
Welcome to the world of Progressive Eugenics...
Here's a great little tutorial on eugenics if you're not familiar with it.
This new executive order reversing the ban on taxpayer funded research on humans, coupled with the plan Obama has for creating government funded/socialized medicine makes me wonder what these progressives have in mind. It all seems OK as long as you're not the one that's targeted. Right now it's embryos. It's not the first time we've removed morality from science and plunged headlong into ideas that were un American and ungodly at the expense of the innocent so don't kid yourself into believing we're immune.

The Bubbly Fed
There never should have been a central/federal bank in the united states. That was something our founders had fled from. Seeing that the government thinks they can do everything more productively than we can, it hustled in the Federal Reserve bank to supposedly end inflation forever. As usual, the government failed. If you haven't studied up about the Federal reserve bank and the reason we were forced to leave the gold standard, you should.

3 new members!

Many of you are probably already checking Read My Lipstick Network member Michelle McIntosh's website (www.michellemcintosh.com) on a regular basis, some of you are friends with her on other networking sites... now she has added a new blog on Blogger.

We're also adding our latest blogs "Conservatism is..." to the roster. We set Conservatism is... up on Blogger and Wordpress to maximize the exposure.

http://michellemcintosh.blogspot.com/ - Michelle McIntosh (blog)
http://conservatismis.blogspot.com - Conservatism Is...
http://conservatismis2.wordpress.com - Conservatism is... (2)

Thanks to those of you who've taken the time to send your thoughts on conservatism for the blog. We're putting one a day out to try and give your thoughts some time alone in the spotlight. I'll remind you off and on about the blog in hopes that more of you will send your words. Send info to: readmylipstick at live dot com.

I'd like to again (broken record) encourage each of you to network to the max... consider Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, all the ning sites and any other networking site you find. If we're going to protect the values we have and hold, we're going to need to get the word out and do everything we can to reach people wherever they go!

TWO New Members

You're going to like both of our two newest blog members!

http://michellemcintosh.com/ - Michelle McIntosh
http://pinkelephantpundit.com - Pink Elephant Pundit

It's funny, I was somewhat down Tuesday night (and I'm still not thrilled), but all of the enthusiasm, the way everyone is pulling together and looking forward is very uplifting. We have a huge fight and everything our country was founded upon is under assault. Yet it seems to be bringing out the best in many! We understand where we are and what's at stake and we are drawing a line in the sand and standing our ground! Not only are we standing our ground, but we're going after what has been lost.

You all are so awesome! I think before it's all said and done we're going to face some challenges we never thought we'd see in our lifetime. However, the spirit that made this country so special still lives in the hearts of you and many, many others. We will make a difference.

Thanks to the two new blog owners who've joined our network! We need a million more like them. Please add them to your "follow" lists and send them a welcome message!

The blogroll is STILL down, but they say they're working on it. Everyone is out looking for an alternative but so far they're about it. Seems strange doesn't it that so many depend on that one blogroll service? It's a huge undertaking and it's wonderful that they offer something like that at no cost.

Growin' Growin' Growin' --- Another Great Member of Read My Lipstick Network

We are already an enthusiastic, positive force for the values that brought America into being, and now we have yet another super blogger joining us! Good Works Work (great title!) is our newest blogging member. Here's the link to Dawn's blog: http://goodworkswork.blogspot.com/

Be sure to add her to the blogs you follow (bottom of Dashboard, left, for Blogger blogs) or subscribe to, or add the blog as a favorite or somehow figure out a way to support Good Works Work (and all of our other member websites and blogs).

Still can't update the blogroll, just checked. We have so many new blogs to add!

Join us on Team Sarah (we have our own group) and I'm in the process of setting up a Read My Lipstick Network on Facebook. I'm probably going to need to ask for a volunteer to monitor Facebook, not one of my usual haunts, but we were invited and I hate to say no to any method that'll get the words you're writing out to the world.

Pick up the phone and call random people if you can't get hold of a list of voters! If you're Republican, call your local Party or the state Party and ask to help. We only have a few days left and they are critical days!!! Go on-line to www.johnmccain.com and click on the make phone calls button on the right side of the screen. They give you an easy script to follow. If you're shy about calling, do it during the day when everyone is at work and you can just leave a message. It's better to talk to people, but every thing you do is going to help. There are some counties where one, just one, vote will make it a John McCain-Sarah Palin win!!!

ANOTHER Fantastic New Member

So many, many are coming out to support the wonderful Sarah Palin and the next great President of the United States, John McCain! If you've been on Team Sarah lately it is growing so fast it crashed the system for a short period of time! I just heard a bit more about the polls on this morning's talk shows and, although I discounted them before, I really discount them now!

One thing I found interesting was a short piece on the actual coverage from the media on the campaign. It showed what we have all known, Barack Obama gets a pass and John McCain has been dumped on to the tune of almost triple the percentages. Duh. We don't need an independent group telling us that, we've all turned off mainstream media because of their open bias.

Anyway, we have a new member! Please add Meet the Real Sarah Palin (http://sarah-palin-2008.blogspot.com/) to your sidebars, blog rolls, blog lists, the blogs you're following, etc.

Our blogroll is working but we're still unable to add blogs to it or make any changes. Some nasty stupid hacker took it down, they got it back but they're unable to let us make changes right now. They're re-working the system to try and fix the areas hackers can hit.

As soon as it's back up we'll get the last four or five new members added.

Call your friends, call your enemies! Get the vote out for John McCain. Let the silent majority speak and let's not lose our country to someone who's going to take from those who've worked their tails off to make the American dream a reality so they can give it to those who live with their hands out.

I'm not talking about those who work and try, I'm talking about those who expect hand-outs and live on them. All statistics show that Republicans GIVE more than Democrats. We are a caring group of folks who live what the other side talks. There's a false picture that has been painted about us that has nothing to do with reality.

Time is short and John McCain needs your enthusiasm! The country and those American values that built this country need your enthusiasm!

Another Great New Member of RMLN!

We'd like to welcome Right Wing Chicks to our fantastic list of bloggers! Here's a link to the blog: http://rightwingchicky.wordpress.com/. Please add them to your lists, favorites, subscriptions, etc.

Here's the latest post:

Fairness Doctrine - not so fair is it.
Until yesterday I had never even heard of the Fairness Doctrine. Then in two separate instances yesterday I heard mention of it, so that must mean I should look into it and see what it is and then see if it is good or bad...

On another note... our blogroll.

The blogroll is still there, but the site is still on hold while they update things and try to make it hacker-proof. I'm checking it regularly to see when I can get in to update our list. If you're new to the Network and haven't seen your blog on the blogroll, please accept our apology and know that we'll get them on there as soon as the blogroll site is back in business (they promise it will be soon).

In the meantime...

You can "follow" all blogs if you're on Blogger. Scroll down to the bottom of the page on your Dashboard and add all the websites please.

Add all of our blog members to your blog lists on your sidebar.

Copy the top of posts to other links of interest in the network and link like I just did at the top of this blog (Fairness doctrine post from Right Wing Chicks).

Last but not least:

Talk to people in the grocery line, go up to people you've never talked to in church, talk to your doctor's receptionist, and get them to VOTE for John McCain and Sarah Palin! Give the server at your favorite restaurant a great tip: Vote for John McCain and Sarah Palin!

ACORN and their ilk are out doing their best to steal the election. We need to show them that good can prevail and that doing it the right way, the honest way, can WIN!

New Poll and the old one is still there, too

#1

PBS has a new poll which asks who you trust to get you through the economic crisis, Barack Obama or John McCain. Here's a link: http://www.pbs.org/cgi-registry/poll/poll.pl If that link doesn't work just go here: http://www.pbs.org/now/index.html and you'll find the poll toward the bottom on the right. They've fixed it now so that only one vote per computer... the last poll (which is still up by the way) asks about Sarah Palin's experience. If you haven't voted in that one, go to the post right before this one and access the link. They've been overwhelmed with voters on both sides!

#2

I'd like everyone to go check out this blog and see what you think about adding it to the network. Love the Republican on it, and like the idea of a Democrat trying to keep up! Not sure if it "fits" with the Read My Lipstick Network where we're strong supporters of John McCain and our lovely Sarah Palin. Whether you vote yes or no, it'd be a great blog to add to your sidebar (which I'm going to do on a few of my personal blogs).

Here's the blog: http://pachydermsandasses.blogspot.com/ (don't you just love the title?)

#3

Here's another site I invite you to check out: http://wthrockmorton.com/ This gentleman has some really interesting commentary and facts on his site! You may want to pop a link on your sidebar.

#4

Please sign up on the top right sidebar for email updates. Everytime something is posted to this blog you'll get an update. It's only sent out once a day and then only if something has been posted. Thanks to Kirly for reminding me about Feedburner and their great services! Blogger has quite a few of the same capabilities now. I believe Feedburner is another one that Google has picked up, so I'd imagine sooner or later everything that's on Feedburner will be on Blogger.

#5

LOTS of trash being tossed at McCain from the Obama campaign. Too much for one blog! If you have set up the ability to follow other blogs on your Blogger homepage (if you're using Blogger, many aren't), then you'll probably be able to scan titles and catch up fairly easily on the issues of the day! The big one in my mind is that they're trying to throw the race card into the mix, which of course, we all knew sooner or later would happen. Every time they try that mess it just makes people more leery of voting the Democratic ticket. The stretch they've made to stir the issue this time boggles my mind. I guess they figure it worked with Hillary and Bill, so maybe it'll work now.

Blog Change! We Love Sarah Palin is now America Needs Sarah Palin!

A note from We Love Sarah Palin blog owner:

Find us at our new address
Not sure how it happened, but my blog which was formerly called We Love Sarah Palin is now called American Needs Sarah Palin and can be found at http://americaneedssarahpalin.blogspot.com

(Note from Read My Lips Network: lately we've been having some problems with Blogger in regards to adding things and having the wrong blogs pop up. Personally, I have a business blogger account and help a few other people with their blogs so have to log into multiple blog accounts. It's taking me to some strange places when I log in sometimes and it's not my computer 'cause I've cleared history, rebooted, don't have problems elsewhere. I have had to completely re-do some of the sidebar additions because it removed the "add" button from features, etc. Being the imaginative type at times, the thought has crossed my mind that Blogger / Google don't like John McCain and Sarah Palin and they're messing with any blogs that are pro Republican, etc... especially since so many of us keep calling them to task for not including any positive results in the Blogger owner Google's search engine... but I think I will chalk it up to Blogger's growing pains instead. They're adding all these cool new features so maybe some code is causing problems!)

More members of Read My Lipstick

Three new members to add to your blog rolls and watch.

1 - Republican Candidates (http://republicancandidates.blogspot.com/) --- they post all the official releases from the McCain campaign and a few others on occasion. Well worth adding to your blog rolls and the sites you're following just to see the latest and greatest from our guy McCain.

2. JMac Politics (http://jmacpolitics.blogspot.com/) --- Fayette County Georgia lady who shares her opinions on a wide assortment of political matters. She's focusing on the election at the moment and is a strong supporter of McCain-Palin.

3. My favorite of the day: Goatees and Lipstick (http://goateesandlipstick.blogspot.com/) - new blog by a newly fired up supporter of John McCain and Sarah Palin! With a title like that you know it's going to be a fun blog to read.

Here's his first post: Up from the couch
I have to begin with my brand new involvement in blogging. After hearing Sen. J. McCain speak from Min. this morning, I rose off the couch with cheers on behalf of great news and plans from McCain. I got so excited that I called my sister in-love and had to just spout off about my excitement. Well she pointed me to blogging and set me up here....I made a statement that I so agree with the McCain/Palin ticket that I would put lipstick on my goatee and walk around if I thought it would show my support in a positive way.... thus birthing my new blog "Goatees and Lipstick"

Be sure to add these to your must reads and help spread the word about the Network, our fellow blog members and JOHN MCCAIN AND SARAH PALIN!!!

Yet Another Great Blog Added to the Network!

Smart Girls Politics is our very latest new member! Here's a link to the blog so everyone can go take a look: www.smartgirlpolitics.blogspot.com (then add the blog to your blog rolls, etc.)

Here's the latest post on the blog (at least the latest as I type this ;-)

Obama Wants Reform and Change, But Will He Clean His Own House?
Senator McCain and Senator Obama are both calling for change and reform in Washington. It's not just what the people want in this country right now, but what we are demanding. After today's debacle in the financial district, it's alarming that there is still little action being taken to fix the problems instead of using a band aide as a solution...

We've joined the McCain Victory 08 Blog Roll

We've joined the McCain Victory '08 Blog Roll (http://mccain08olc.blogspot.com/)

I think most of our members now have the MV08 Blog Roll list on your blogs but if you don't, and you'd like to be part of their network go hear for instructions on how to become a member: http://azamatterofact.proboards76.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=3

They'll check out your blog, then add you to the blog roll. It's great to be associated with other blogs for McCain-Palin! I was impressed to find so many positive blogs for McCain-Palin around the Internet. When you do a Google search about all they put on the first few pages are negatives. Given the traffic and number of positive blogs, isn't it something that none of them seem to make it to the top of search engine pages?

If you'd like to check out MV08 first click this link: http://mccain08olc.blogspot.com/. Then you can just click on the "Join the Blog Roll" link right under the header if you're interested. There are a ton of McCain blogs on their list!

Another Blog Added to the Network! More Moms for McCain

We'd like to welcome More Moms for McCain to the Read My Lipstick Network! Be sure to check out the blog (http://moremomsformccain.blogspot.com/)

Here's a brief description:

Some of us are simply home makers. Others of us work full or part-time outside the home. Our children are infants, toddlers, teens, or young adults. We are Roman Catholic, Methodist, Lutheran, Non-Denominational or other Christian faith. We send our children to public school, private school, home school. Our common denominator is our fierce love for our families and our country...The United States of America. We are MORE MOMS FOR MCCAIN.

Welcome to the Read My Lipstick Network

Our latest addition to the Network is "We Love Sarah Palin". Great blog with lots of good info being posted rather frequently from what we can tell. Hope you'll check it out!

If you have a blog or website that is pro-Sarah Palin and would like to be part of the Network, the info is on the sidebar.

Working together we WILL get John McCain and Sarah Palin elected! Keep in mind that although the majority of the states are swinging in the McCain-Palin direction at the moment, there are a few key states that MUST go our way if we want to win. Let's find friends in California, Florida, Pennsylvania and other key states and make sure they vote and vote right!
